2021 Changes
Starting on January 1st of 2021, the State of Colorado is updating its conveyance inspection regulations so that 5-year witnessed tests and annual inspections will now both expire in the same month, based on the 5-year witnessed test month. We are doing our best to make sure this process is as seamless and painless as possible; therefore, we will continuously communicate with you and the State as more information becomes available.
You should be receiving emails from the State of Colorado about these changes, so we ask that you please forward any correspondence you receive from the State. For more specific information and FAQs, please refer to PEIColorado.com/2021.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have about this new program. We are always here for you. Additionally, feel free to contact Karen Klaversma at the Division of Oil and Public Safety with any requests for alignment of multiple elevators or specific questions regarding expiration date changes. Karen can be reached at karen.klaversma@state.co.us. Please cc’ PEI on any correspondence and changes so we can align our database with any new dates.
We want to personally wish you and your family a very safe and happy holiday season. Thank you so much for your business and loyalty; we appreciate you.
